Battery scrubbers work in change rooms, corridors and other enclosed spaces with no fumes where they clean. ## Lithium vs lead-acid Lithium batteries charge faster, can be opportunity-charged in breaks and need no watering. Lead-acid costs less up front but needs regular maintenance and full charge cycles. Our battery guide compares them. ## Getting the most from your batteries Charge in a ventilated area, follow the charging schedule for your battery type, and keep terminals clean. We can advise on chargers and replacement batteries.
