Ride-on sweepers clear construction sites and yards of sand, grit and debris. ## Why dry sweeping is a problem on site Cutting, grinding and drilling concrete, brick and stone creates fine silica dust. Dry sweeping lifts it back into the air workers breathe. Machine sweeping with filtration, or vacuuming, keeps it contained. ## Matching the machine to the build stage Early stages suit ride-on sweepers on slabs, roads and hardstand. During fit-out, compact battery sweepers and vacuums work indoors. Before handover, a scrubber leaves floors clean and dry. Machine sweeping with good filtration produces far less airborne dust than dry sweeping. It should form part of your site's dust control plan rather than replace it. ### Can we hire for the length of a project? Yes. We offer short and long-term hire, so you can keep a machine on site for a single stage or the whole build. ### Which vacuum suits concrete dust? Fine silica dust needs a vacuum with the right filter class for the work. Tell us what you're cutting or grinding and we'll recommend one.
