In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sweepers PTY LTD. ## What we collect We only collect information we need to quote, supply, hire, finance or service a machine, or to answer your enquiry. This may include: - your name, job title, company, phone number and email address; - delivery, site and billing addresses, and site access details; - details of the machines you own, buy, hire or bring in for service; - order, hire, payment and service history; - the names of people we train to operate a machine; - information you include in messages, quote requests or phone calls. We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health information, and ask you not to send it. Card payments are processed by our bank or payment provider; we do not store full card numbers. You can make a general enquiry without giving your name, but we will need contact details to send a quote or arrange a sale, hire or service. ## How we collect it Mostly directly from you: through our contact and quote forms, by email or phone, in person at our workshop, or when we deliver, collect or service a machine at your site. Occasionally we receive details from someone else, such as a colleague who refers you, or one of our finance partners handling your application. ## How we use it - to answer enquiries and prepare quotes; - to supply, deliver, hire, collect, train on and service machines; - to invoice, take payment and keep business records; - to handle warranty and consumer guarantee claims with manufacturers; - to tell you about service reminders, offers or new machines, if you have agreed to hear from us. You can opt out of marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. We will still contact you about orders, hires and services you have with us. ## Who we share it with We do not sell personal information. We share it only where needed to do what you have asked, or where the law requires it: - freight and delivery companies, to deliver machines and parts; - manufacturers and their Australian distributors, such as Fimap, for warranty claims and parts orders; - our finance partners, if you ask us to connect you with them for finance; - our accountant, bank, insurers and IT, email and hosting providers; - government agencies or regulators, where the law requires or allows it. Some of our email and cloud software providers may store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. ## Website and cookies Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site secure and working. This website does not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first. Links to other websites, such as Facebook or manufacturers' sites, are covered by those sites' own privacy policies. ## Storage and security We store information in password-protected business systems and in paper records kept at our Cornubia premises. We keep records for as long as we need them for the purposes above and to meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements, then destroy or de-identify them. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and, where required, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). ## Access and correction You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. If we can't give you access, we will tell you why in writing. ## Complaints If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
